April Grading and Master Class

Thank you and well done to all students who attended the Master Class and grading on the 17th April 2011. It was a fantastic event hosted by the Gold Coast club and run by Master Daher. The Master Class allows students to learn new skills and improve on technique. This master class concentrated on sparring and allowed students to practice and master a number of kicks and hand techniques.

Following the Master Class was our first grading for 2011. Three students form the Redlands Club were up for grading and each student put in great effort and was successful in achieving their grade. Felix Kernot and Annie Kerr each successfully graded to Red Belts. It was a hard grading with students being pushed physically and mentally. Sarah Brereton was given the honour of double grading taking her from White Belt Yellow Tip to Yellow Belt Green Tip. This is a great achievement as double gradings are not given out without a lot of hard work.

Congratulations to all of our student who graded. We are very proud of each of you. Keep up the good work.
